JAMIE OLIVER FREE COOKERY COURSE - DATE FOR YOUR DIARY

Would you like to get a qualification, gain cooking skills and learn how to cook from scratch for FREE using Jamie Oliver's delicious recipes?
The course starts on 24th February to 24th March 2014 at Houghton Regis Academy from 9.30am to 3pm. The course runs for five sessions all day on a Monday. Breakfast and Lunch provided. This course is aimed at 16-19 year olds who are not employed or in training who live in either Houghton Regis or Dunstable and have an interest in food. GET INTO COFFEE

A FREE 4 week training course which gives you work experience in the coffee industry.  If you are 16-25 unemployed and interested in a career in coffee or retail, join the free training programme where you can:
  • Undertake a two-week training programme, giving you some key knowledge and skills needed to work in the hospitality sector
  • Improve your team work, communication, CV writing and interviewing skills and boos your confidence
  • Complete a two-week work placement in a Costa Coffee store
  • Receive six months' support after the programme to help you to find a job
The course takes place from Monday 24th February to Friday 21st March 2014

You could gain a level 1, 2 or 3 City and Guilds qualification in Work Based Horse care and Riding at a yard near you. Studying for around 12 hours per week over 1 year for levels 1 and 2, 2 years for level 3. We have yards all over the East of England. These qualifications could lead to careers such as: groom, Riding instructor, Yard Manager, Farrier and many more.
