Jobhunting?
Do remember to check websites
yourselves too as this doesnt contain everything (you'd be scrolling
through for weeks if I included everything!) so enter your postcode to
look at jobs local to you.
Some websites we use for job hunting are: www.indeed.co.uk , www.jobsearchdirect.gov.uk , www.jobstoday.co.uk, www.bedfordjobshub.co.uk, http://bedsbucks.jobsnow.co.uk/jobs/united-kingdom/bedfordshire/jobs-bedford
www.youthoria.org - jobs and training for young people in Cambridgeshire (train to St Neots & Huntingdon from Sandy & Biggleswade)
www.hertsjobs16to19.org - jobs and training for young people in Hertfordshire - Stevenage, Letchworth Garden City
Want to combine a qualification and a job? Think about apprenticeships!
www.apprenticeships.org.uk
- the only place you need to look for apprenticeships as ALL
apprenticeships HAVE to appear on this national website. You will need
to register, but its quick and easy and you can then search according to
what youre looking for, and where you can get to.
Remember,
an apprenticeship IS a job - so great to have a salary AND a
qualification AND a job at the end of it! Although lots of people think
the pay is bad; this is not always true - average pay is approx £100 a
week!

employers are looking for.... even if its just for a few hours. Have a
look at http://www.voluntaryworks.org.uk/volunteeringbedford/ for more information, and let me know if you want to find out more about this...

opportunities are not particularly easy to find in this current job
