WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We offer a range of apprenticeships, some of which you won’t need any specific qualifications to apply for. We’re much more interested in the type of person you are, how you get on with other people, and how you approach your work.
So whether you are a school or college leaver, if you've got the raw talent and ambition to build a long-term career here, we're confident that together we can achieve real success that will benefit you and our customers.
It is important, however, that you take time to consider whether you're right for the programme. With that in mind, these are some of the key things that we look for in our apprentices:
- Ambition
- Commitment
- Time management
- Team work
- Communication skills
Where you've gained these skills doesn't matter. It could be through experience at school, on a job, or as part of a sports team or club. But we will expect you to demonstrate them, as well as your enthusiasm and ambition.
It's also worth considering whether you're ready to make the commitment to your own training and progress. Although we'll support you at every step, you will need to invest a considerable amount of your own time, for example in studying towards your qualifications.
